About iCUE

The International Consortium of University Entrepreneurs (iCUE) is a global consortium of student enterprise enhancing organisations. iCUE was initiated by Victoria Lennox (Chair of iCUE as well as Founder & Chair of NACUE), and was founded in May 2010 among member organisations from the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Spain and Bulgaria. Today, iCUE supports student enterprise initiatives in more than 17 countries and continues to grow, now including China, USA, Brazil, Finland, Vietnam, India, Rwanda, Ireland, Norway, Canada, Ethiopia and Germany

iCUE’s Mission is to drive global youth entrepreneurship and to represent the views of young entrepreneurs to national and international policy leaders and decision makers.

iCUE’s Vision is to become the global hub for youth enterprise organisations.

In doing so, iCUE connects leading national youth enterprise organisations from all over the world so as to enhance global collaboration, shares best practices and develops messages to share with international organisations. Since launching, iCUE has had a voice in 2010 at the World Economic Forum’s Enterprise Education Roundtable in Brussels and at the UNCTAD 2011 Expert Group on S&T and Enterprise Education in Geneva.

Each year iCUE’s members convene for the Annual Global Round Table to discuss national developments and to advance the mission and growth of iCUE. Throughout the year, members interact and work together via bi-weekly conference calls, a monthly eNewsletter, a shared Wiki and smaller project-based task forces. Each month iCUE develops and distributes guidelines & case studies which directly support the continuous development of our less developed member organisations.

Our 2011/12 Objectives:

(1) To increase global membership,

(2) be recognised as a global hub for youth entrepreneurship society models,

(3) disseminate best practices, guidance tools and templates,

(3) achieve financial sustainability, and

(4) foster the growth of similar movements across the world.
