Impact
Impact aims to foster a spirit of entrepreneurship among youth across the world. The view at Impact is that the entrepreneurship embodies something bigger than just starting a business–-a mindset towards life that can help achieve any dream. In the summer of 2010 the Board of Directors and Executive team built a long-term vision for Impact’s 10th anniversary (in 2014) to ensure that the organization is continuing on a path of growth and success while carefully evaluating the criteria of Talent, Brand, and Sustainability. Our goals in 2011 are to:

  • Become Canada’s trusted and go-to destination for information about youth entrepreneurship
  • Recognize and support the local and national start-up communities
  • Cultivate more entrepreneurs and individuals working in startups

Gate to Create
Gate to Create is the national student entrepreneurship organization of Denmark. The organization’s goal is to strengthen entrepreneurship at Danish universities, so that more successful startups are created in Denmark. Gate to Create was initiated in the spring of 2010 by the four existing student entrepreneurship societies. The organization has grown to nine member societies at eight of the Danish universities. Gate to Create and its member societies focuses on making students take the first step towards starting up a company. We believe in the value of knowledge sharing and diversity in building successful startups, and we promote this by bringing together talented, motivated students from all Danish universities. Our activities in Gate to Create are divided into three areas: National collaboration between the student entrepreneurship societies in Denmark, enabling our members to create more and better initiatives on entrepreneurship for their students, and to be a strong voice in the debate on how to strengthen entrepreneurship in Denmark. Activities are:

  • Hosting monthly meetings between the leaders of the member societies
  • Arranging conferences for intense best practice sharing
  • Connecting to international partners

We provide a single connection point between all Danish student entrepreneurship societies and external stakeholders.
